Happy Easter!

My pretty girls in their Easter dresses.

Ava has rosy cheeks after finding all these Easter eggs outside!

Anna and Ava awoke to a trail of eggs leading to their baskets on Easter morning. Anna was excited and didn't know which trail to choose. Ava didn't like having real hard boiled eggs on our floor, so she was picking the eggs up and putting them in the fridge for us. The Easter Bunny hid Anna's basket in the dryer, and Ava's was hiding under the kitchen table.

Coloring Easter Eggs

The girls got this Barbie Jeep for Christmas and the snow finally melted enough on the streets to take it out for a drive. Hopefully by summer Anna will have figured out how to steer it!

These pictures are from last month when we went to The Building for Kids in Appleton and stayed overnight in a hotel. It was the girls' first time in a hotel and they loved the whirlpool tub. The pictures of the girls in the air-traffic control tower are for you, Grandpa!

Anna's Dance Recital

Anna's first dance recital was this week. She was pretty darn cute. The costumes came in only hours before the recital so I was very relieved that she finally had her costume and that it fit. After the recital Anna was showered with gifts! Then Grandpa Jim treated everyone to ice cream at Baskin Robbins.
