Christmas Day

Christmas Eve

Christmas Card Pictures

The first picture shows what happens when you try to get three kids under 5 years of age to sit nicely and smile for a picture for Christmas cards...it just doesn't work. So I had to use various pictures of the kids

Our Christmas Tree

We took our annual trip to the tree farm to choose our Christmas Tree. It was really cold that day, and as the pictures show, Ava did not have a good time. Joey was nice and warm in my wrap.

Christmastime Fun

We went to the railroad museum to take a ride on the Polar Express. The girls love the book and movie, so I knew they would like it. Kids are supposed to wear their pajamas, just like in the movie, while they listened to the book read aloud. Then we hopped aboard the train that took us to the North Pole.

Joe was very content in my carrier.

Ava on the train ride.

Anna on the train ride.

When we got to the North Pole, the girls sat on Santa's lap. this was the first year that Anna wasn't scared! Anna asked for a Barbie book, Ava asked for a ball. Ava was mad when we were leaving, because she was under the impression that Santa would give her a ball right then and there.

We took our annual trip to the tree farm to pick out a tree.

The girls posing in front of the Balsam we picked out.

That's Joey warm and snuggly in my wrap.

Jeff chopping down the tree.

Anna, Joey and I on the wagon ride.

Ava on the wagon ride...she wasn't enjoying the whole experience since she doesn't like cold weather.

3 Months Old

My little Joey is 3 months's old! I don't know where the time has gone. He's a sweet boy. He has gotten very smiley, and loves to watch people. He knows our voices and lights up when the girls go near him. He loves to cuddle. He loves his pacifier. He is now happy with Jeff, and that makes Jeff very happy. He still hates the car. His eyes are changing from the usual dark newborn color to Parmentier blue. His hair is still much darker than the girls. Ava turned blonde by 3 months and Anna hair changed to blonde around 4-5 months, so we'll see. His hairline is cute. I don't know who he resembles but I still see Michael in him sometimes. He is getting bigger and bigger. He will probably even off soon though. I just switched out the 6 month clothes with 9 month clothes. I can't believe my 3 month old is wearing 9-12 month clothes! I tried to put him in a bumbo seat but his chubby thighs don't fit.

Thanksgiving

Jeff's sister Jenny and her husband Jason host Thanksgiving every year for both their families. As you can see, there has been quite a baby boom recently! Jason & his 3 siblings all had babies born very close together. Next will surely be fun...and a bit chaotic!

The Massey Cousins

Cousin Bryn and Joey are just one month part. Look at that size difference! Bryn is petite since she was a preemie, and Joey is just a big boy.

SNOW!

The girls waited patiently all day for Jeff to come home so they could play in the snow while he shoveled.
Here is Anna happily helping Daddy shovel.
Ava helping shovel.

This is Ava when she came in the house after trying to throw a snowball at Jeff. She hit herself in the face with it and snow went down her neck.

This is Ava after hot chocolate and marshamallows warmed her up.
